Career History:	After 16 years as a broadcast engineer, changed career to insurance and investments. The move turned out to be very successful and satisfying. A lot of engineers got down sized as they got older. This did not happen to me in the investment field.

Switching careers made it easier for me to relocate from Philly to sunny Southern California. I've been here since 1986. I semi retired in 2008 after my wife Alice died, and fully retired in 2014. I'm fortunate to be in good health and enjoying life playing tennis, traveling, and helping the grandkids.

I was contemplating joining the U.S. Air Force because of my engineering. Six months before graduation in 1968, I was dating my first future wife. She worked for the draft board and told me that they were not drafting married men. Two weeks after graduation, we married. Thus, no military service and possible Vietnam.

I look at life as a marathon, doing everything in moderation and hoping to reach that centenarian mark still in fairly good health.
