The Rev. Jim Perry died in January 2014 after a long career with the United Methodist Church as both a clergyman in Vermont and New York and the Director of Ministries in Minneapolis. After retirement in 2010, Jim and his wife Kareen returned to Vermont, where he spent many fruitless hours cheering the Red Sox. An English Lit major, Jim was a member of DU, Manager of the 1967 baseball team, and an active presence in Wharton and Sharples -- easy to talk to and easy to laugh. He received his Bachelor of Divinity Degree in 1971 from the Andover Newton Theological School.
